COMPLIANCE SOLUTIONS

CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT

(M)SDS MANAGEMENT

The MSDS.COM.AU Compliance Management System provides real time access to the most up to date chemical product information, with an extensive proprietary database of SDS and label information comprised of 7 million records.

Our team updates or adds approximately 2000 SDS and labels into the database every month.

As the SDS and labels of the products that you use are updated, the MSDS.COM.AU Compliance Management System provides you with automatic notification of the changes, ensuring that your records are continually up to date.

CHEMICAL INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Any operation that requires the storage of chemicals must meet specific legislative requirements. The Chemical Inventory Management module automatically generates the required documentation for chemical storage and use.

By selecting products from our extensive database, relevant information is populated into compliance documents that chemical users are required to maintain, including a chemical register and manifest. The system also guides users through the process of correctly segregating incompatible chemicals.

The Chemical Inventory management module also provides a tool for mapping the location of chemical storage areas, to allow for the electronic provision of stored chemical information to emergency services in the event of an emergency or a disaster.

The MSDS.COM.AU Mobile app provides access to all of your crucial information directly from your Apple iPhone, iPad or Android-based device.

RISK MANAGEMENT

CHEMICAL RISK MANAGEMENT

Pursuant to workplace health and safety legislation, the identification of hazards of and risks posed by hazardous substances is a key compliance requirement. The Chemical Risk Management module creates detailed risk assessments for chemicals stored and used within an organisation. It automatically identifies chemical hazards, allows the recording of control measures and provides a guided risk matrix to determine the level of risk posed to each staff member based on the frequency of exposure and the likely consequences. Task-specific risk assessments can be created by identifying and controlling non-chemical hazards.

Chemical Safety documentation often comprises between 10 and 20 pages of in-depth, technical information, which can be difficult for workers to absorb, understand and act on.

MSDS.COM.AU's Quick Chemical Hazard Assessment Report (Q-CHART) is a simple one page document that summarises, through the use of pictograms, all critical information contained in the (M)SDS and the risk assessment created within the system for a specific activity, making complex technical documents understandable by anyone.

Chemical risks are managed through a risk monitor which summarises all risk assessments recorded in the system. The console provides relevant and searchable reports of risks and required corrective actions for the entire organization.

The Risk Management Module is tightly integrated with all other system's modules.

NON-CHEMICAL RISK MANAGEMENT

The Non-Chemical Risk Management Module enables the creation of detailed risk assessments for any general task conducted within the organisation. Users pre-define an assessment template to identify the risks of specific tasks and record control measures. The module provides a guided risk matrix to determine the level of risk posed to each staff member based on the frequency of exposure and the likely consequences.

Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documents and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) can be easily created for a series of tasks within a work activity by populating information from completed risk assessments.

The Non-Chemical Risk Management Module includes a tool to generate Safe Work Procedures (SWP) from scratch or based on existing risk assessments, JSA documents or SWMS.

Non-chemical risks are managed through a risk monitor which summarises all risk assessments recorded in the system. The console provides relevant and searchable reports of risks and required corrective actions for the entire organisation.

The Risk Management Module is integrated with all modules, linking risk assessments to assets, policies, staff, chemicals and incidents.
